Credit Controller (part-time, 27.5 hrs per week)

We are seeking to recruit a highly organised administrator with good numerical, interpersonal and communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office to become a part-time Credit Controller in our Business Office team.

The role reports to the Business Office Team Leader and key duties include:

  • running timely reports to manage all account balances and identify overdue accounts
  • sending out reminder/chase letters weekly/monthly as required.
  • investigating and resolving all invoice queries from insurers, patients and Consultants by telephone, letter or in person updating the computer system with notes and actions.
  • processing, receipting and posting cash, cheque, credit/debit card payments to the relevant accounts.
  • liaisimg with insurance companies, patients and the NHS to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.

Bank Theatre Practitioner Nurse

We are looking to recruit a qualified Theatre Registered RGN/ODP – Anaesthetics and Recovery to work at The Foscote Hospital on a bank basis, to provide quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase.

Key qualifications, skills and experience required:

Essential

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
  • Approved/recognised anaesthetic course with at least 2 years’ experience at an acute level
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • ILS

Desirable

  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a range and varied patient case mix and competent across a range of skills.

Hospital Cook – Casual hours (bank staff)

We have an interesting, flexible vacancy for a cook with professional experience and the Basic Food Hygiene certificate to join our excellent catering team. Hours will be on a casual ad-hoc basis (zero hours contract) to cover holidays, sickness and particularly busy times at the hospital.

The role will support the Catering Manager in the provision of a meal and snack service to patients, visitors and staff, ensuring that the meals provided are of the highest possible culinary and hygienic standards, and will at times deputise for the Catering Manager and second chef, in their absence.

Whilst catering qualifications are not required it is essential that applicants have previous professional cooking experience – for example, in a school or other professional kitchen. For full details please see the job description.

Kitchen Assistant – Casual hours (bank staff)

We are recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our team of bank staff. Hours will be on an ad hoc casual basis to cover holidays, sickness and particularly busy times at the hospital.

Nurses (Bank – ad hoc hours)

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our bank team .

Surgical experience and a willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends is required. Induction and on-going training will be given.

Qualifications:

  • RN – Current registration
  • ENB 998 or equivalent desirable

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years post registration experience
  • Experience essential within a similar acute setting
  • Required licence or certification: NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council)

Radiographer (Bank – ad hoc hours)

The Foscote Private Hospital requires an enthusiastic and motivated bank Radiographer to join our team.

This is a general radiographer’s position. The applicant should have experience in general and theatre work. There is a need for you to be able to work on your own and take part in the On Call rota when required.

Currently the department provides an imaging service including plain x-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound.
