Physiotherapy

The Foscote Private Hospital’s Physiotherapists are Emily Wells and Ingrid Stroop.

They are both registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and Health Professionals Council and work closely as part of the integrated multi-disciplinary teams within the hospital, so that if necessary, clients can benefit from fast referrals and access to the latest imaging technologies to help accurately diagnosed and treat.

The Foscote Private Hospital treats a wide variety of physiotherapy related injuries such as: neck and back injuries; sports injuries; work related injuries; women’s health problems; sprains and strains; arthritic and rheumatic conditions; neurological conditions; dizziness; respiratory conditions; rehabilitation following surgery and so on.

At The Foscote Private Hospital we try to ensure that clients are looked after by the same physiotherapist from start to finish. Clients will feel at ease with a familiar team, and treatment that is tailored specifically to each individual.

Treatments may include: manipulation; mobilisation; massage; electrotherapy; home exercise programmes; stretching programmes; Pilates; acupuncture; postural retraining and advice.

The Foscote Private Hospital’s department offers a high standard of clinical care in a modern, purpose built, well-equipped facility.

Referrals can be made from GP’s and consultants. Self-referrals directly from patients are also accepted. These can be sent via fax, email or post.
