For self-funded patients, you will be required to pay the full cost of your procedure before coming into hospital. This can be paid for by credit or debit card excluding American Express. Personal cheques must be received at least 10 working days before patient admission. Payment by bank cheque, building society cheque, credit card or debit card can be paid up to and including the day before patient admission.
On arrival you will be asked to sign a registration form and if you are self-funding to make your payment. If your admission is covered by health insurance, please bring your policy details and authorisation with you. You must contact your insurance company prior to your admission to receive the authorisation to proceed with your treatment. If you need any help at all with this, our finance staff will be pleased to assist you.
Private Medically Insured patients
Requires authorisation from your insurers depending on the policy as to what is covered. We have agreements with most insurance companies BUPA / AXA ppp / Simply Health/ Cigna / Aviva / Helix / Exeter Health – all may require a patient to pay an excess. See details here.

For patients covered by Private Health Insurance, please ensure you have pre-authorisation from your health care provider before coming into hospital.
