Wear It Pink For Breast Cancer
The New Foscote Hospital staff are supporting Wear It Pink For Breast Cancer to raise awareness for the many people affected by this disease.
Around 55,000 women and 370 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year and will endure such worrying and crucial treatment in order to improve their health from this disease. Therefore, it is now more important than ever to show our support for each other and to recognise how breast cancer can affect so many people and their families each year, and now during a time when NHS waiting times will be longer than they ever have been due to the global pandemic.
Wear It Pink For Breast Cancer raises money for Breast Cancer Now, who use the funds for life-saving research into better treatments and care for people with breast cancer, so that hopefully soon we will live in a world where everyone with breast cancer lives, and lives well. The campaign has raised over £36million since 2002. For more information on how you can get involved, visit: www.wearitpink.org
