Dr Qaisar Khalil is a highly experienced Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia, providing expert care at The New Foscote Hospital. He specialises in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex acute and chronic pain conditions, offering evidence-based and patient-focused treatment.
Dr Khalil completed his medical degree (MBBS) and specialist training in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine in Pakistan, where he was awarded the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS). He later obtained the Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (FCAI) and further developed his subspecialist expertise through an advanced Pain Medicine Fellowship at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Oxford Pain Management Centre, Churchill Hospital, UK.
His clinical interests include the treatment of spinal and radicular pain, neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal pain, post-operative pain, and cancer-related pain. Dr Khalil offers a full range of minimally invasive, image-guided interventional pain procedures, utilising advanced ultrasound and fluoroscopy techniques to ensure accuracy, safety, and optimal outcomes.
Dr Khalil adopts a holistic, patient-centred approach to pain management, combining medical treatments, interventional procedures, physiotherapy, and psychological support. His goal is to achieve effective pain relief while improving function, independence, and overall quality of life.
He is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Haryanvi, allowing him to deliver personalised and compassionate care to patients from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
