Dr. Mehrez brings a wealth of experience in pain medicine, having trained in leading institutions and collaborated extensively across specialties. He has played a key role in developing multidisciplinary approaches, working alongside spinal surgeons, urologists, and primary care teams to ensure patients have a clear understanding of their treatment options and receive timely, coordinated care.
Committed to utilizing the latest advancements in pain medicine, Dr. Mehrez integrates cutting-edge treatments and technologies to enhance patient outcomes. His training at the South Thames School in London included a year at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Pain Management Centre, where he specialized in neuromodulation and advanced pain management techniques.
Currently, he serves as the Lead Clinician for pain services at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Trust and also runs a private practice. Alongside his clinical work, he holds an honorary lecturer position at the University of Buckingham Medical School and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Neuromodulation Society of the United Kingdom and Ireland, The British Pain Society, and the International Association for the Study of Pain.
Dr. Mehrez is instrumental in shaping pain services in Buckinghamshire, contributing to service redesign, patient education initiatives, and the implementation of community pain service pilots. His dedication extends to mentoring junior doctors, training healthcare professionals, and ensuring patients receive comprehensive education about their care.
