Mr Robert McCormick is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Clinical Director with a specialist focus on minimally invasive and endourological procedures for urinary symptoms, stone disease and urological cancers. He also leads a major project developing a new urological investigation unit.
His clinical practice includes a wide range of procedures such as TURP, bladder cancer treatment, prostate cancer diagnostics, circumcision, scrotal surgery and vasectomy. He has a particular interest in complex stone disease management and multidisciplinary care.
Mr McCormick completed his specialist urological training within the Oxford Deanery, gaining broad experience across leading centres. Alongside his clinical training, he undertook a DPhil research degree in Molecular Biology and was actively involved in medical education, tutoring and lecturing undergraduate medical students at Oxford colleges.
Mr McCormick has developed and led comprehensive urological services, including chairing multidisciplinary team meetings for stone disease and contributing to service development and innovation.
He continues to be actively involved in medical education through Buckingham University, providing teaching and clinical supervision for medical students and junior doctors.
