Mr. Joshua Franklyn is a Consultant Robotic General and Colorectal Surgeon. He was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2020, before undertaking specialist fellowship training at the renowned Basingstoke Peritoneal Malignancy Institute, focusing on the management of advanced colorectal cancer.
He has undertaken dedicated robotic colorectal training at Oxford University Hospitals and brings extensive expertise to his role as a consultant surgeon, combining precision robotic techniques with compassionate patient care.
Mr. Franklyn is internationally recognised for his contributions to surgery, having published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, presented at global conferences, and authored multiple textbook chapters. He is also deeply committed to education, mentoring the next generation of robotic surgeons, and currently serves as Surgical Lead for Undergraduate Medical Education at University College London (UCL).
